I met Bones when I first came to Sidney at 28 years of age. He wore cross earrings at that time. He took one out of his ear and put it in mine. I have to say at first he did scare me. But through the years he became a close friend of mine. I miss him every day.

My sympathy goes out to all Bones' family and all the brothers that was associated to the Vikins. I enjoyed the little bit of time I spent with him and his brother skull. I'm just he doesn't have to suffer anymore. Keep him in your thoughts. Lucan CA.

Jan, Miss you and your children. Hope you are well. Sorry to all the family about Bones. Didn't know he had more children than your 2 and the pretty darked-haired girl; he would show people her picture. (alice) Sorry to all his family and friends.

I meet Bones through my husband Boot Jack. At first I was scared to death of Bones, but under that rough outer layer was one of the most beautiful people I ever meet. Bones was one of the best friends a person could have. He never judged you and listen to all you had to say. I will miss him more than words can say.

I am sorry to hear of "Bones'" passing. Although I haven't seen him in over 25 years, he has always been in my thoughts. The world will be a little lonelier, and a lot less fun with Bones gone.

It saddens me to know that yet another important person in my life has passed on... We all have our special memories of our relationships with Willis, one in which I will always treasure. Under all of the hair and tattoos, he was a very caring, loving person. He was extremely educated and loved to share his knowledge with whoever would take the time to sit and listen from the "shanty" on Wilkinson Avenue. Through the good and the bad, I am glad I remained in touch with him over the years and got to visit him not long ago. This is for you Willy, a poem that Mia wrote before her passing in 2004 which I find most appropriate. Miss you, miss you, miss you; Everything I do Echoes with the laughter And the voice of you You're on every corner Every turn and twist Every old familiar spot Whispers how you're missed Miss you, miss you, miss you; Everywhere I go There are poignant memories Dancing in a row Silhouette and shadow Of your form and face Substance and reality Everywhere displace Miss you, miss you, miss you; There's a strange sad silence Mid the busy world Just as out of the ordinary Daily things I do Wait with me expectant For a word from you Miss you, miss you, miss you; Nothing now seems true Only that it was heaven Just to be with you

Merry Meet from San Francisco. I've never met Bones, but he's managed to have an imprint on me for many years, and here is why. When I was a young girl, I saw one of the greatest photographs ever in the history of ever, of Bones Kah holding his new baby, Harley Davidson Kah. I had begun thinking of that picture again recently, because I never forgot the strength and kindness and love that the picture captured. When I searched the web to see if I could find it, I instead found the notice of his passing. I'm very sorry to find this out, I offer my tenderest sympathy to his loved ones, and from the bottom of my heart, I wish Bones the best of journies from this incarnation to the next. May he sleep in peace and wake in wonderment. PS -- Harley Davidson is one of the coolest names ever, and my name was very nearly Mercedes because my parents had to sell it to pay for my birth! Blessings to all.
