PEGGY J. MINER, 79 of Bellefontaine, formerly of Sidney, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 9:45 PM at Laurels of Worthington. She was born on July 22, 1938 in Cullman, Alabama, the daughter of the late Henry and Wanda (Minor) Blair. On July 30, 1983 she married Rex M. Miner who preceded her in death July 30, 2015.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Scott Curtner of Raleigh, NC, and Shawn Douglas (Jenny) Curtner of Worthington, OH, and four grandchildren, Kate, Lucas, Reagan and Blake Curtner. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Blair, and one sister, Alma Blair.
Mrs. Miner was a 1956 Honors Graduate of Sidney High School. She worked as Executive Secretary for Airstream Trailers in Jackson Center. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine.
Peggy loved her cats, quilting, hand stitching, traveling, gardening, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 7 PM.
