Mary and family, We are so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. He was more like a brother to our family than a nephew or cousin. I know mom and dad are up in heaven with open arms to welcome him home as the whole Allen Family. He will be sadly missed. Sorry we won't make it home but know that prayers are with you all. We are so sorry for your loss, we love Pete and have some great memories living next door to you for many years. One of our favorite memories is when we first moved in during the first 2 winters, Travis would shovel your walk way and drive way then one day Pete came home while Travis was doing this. He stopped Travis and called him over he had a grin on his face to the garage opened the door and there sat a brand new snow blower he told Travis he has never used it and next time instead of shoveling snow to use the blower. Travis got a real kick out of that. Another memory is when the 4 of us were standing on the sidewalk talking and Pete started laughing and told us we better turn around and look down the sidewalk. Much to my embarrassment our youngest who was about 3 at the time was coming down the sidewalk butt naked, and grinning wanting to see Pete. RIP Pete we will miss you. To Mary and the family our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Try to find strength and comfort in knowing he is with the Lord and he is no longer suffering. Dustin is overseas serving and sends his love and prayers to you.
