Dear Charlotte, John, Jim, Julie and Joe,

So sorry for your loss. Uncle Dale was a good and kind man. I have a lot of fond memories of him - especially at our family gatherings at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He will continue to live in our hearts.

Jim & Mary,
I was sorry to hear of your dad's passing.
Decades ago, you related a story about being out to eat with your dad--when a waitress attempted to take away his unfinished salad. Your demonstration (of him using his fork to retrieve it) was so funny that I never forgot it... to this day, if a server tries to remove an unfinished plate, I still think of your dad's quick response.
Cherish the many, many good memories you have of fun times with your dad--he will live in your hearts forever.

my heart is breaking for your loss. Dale was my favorite mailman. I lived in Riverbend and I loved Dale so much. he was amazing and I cried when he retired. he literally watched me and my brother grow up. he was more than just a mailman, he became a friend. thinking of you all. Much love.
