Regretfully having lost contact with Mike many years ago, I've always considered him to be among my best boyhood friends. I still can hear him sing from Once Upon a Mattress. I know Mike has left a legacy of joy for all who knew him. He did for me. Grace and Peace!

Cathy, Chris, Lauren, Autumn, Gary and family, we are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We know this has been a long hard fight and we hope that the knowledge that he is no longer suffering brings you some comfort. We still remember how much he loved to watch the kids play ball from the time they were in little league all the way until Chris was playing in High School. He was always encouraging to us when we coached and let us know how much he appreciated what we tried to do for the kids. I really don't think he ever missed a game. We know how much you will all miss him and we are thinking of you all. We are out town and not due back until the 26th so we will be unable to express our condolences in person.

To the entire Steed Family I am so sorry for your loss! You are all in my prayers and thoughts ! I know how hard it is to loose a Loved one and Mike surley was Loved ! I party God will give you the strength to go on and comfort you during this trying time ! I will miss Mike ! He made total strangers feel welcome ! He was a joy to carry a conversation with ! I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts, and prayer's. Condolences. Michael was always such a nice good guy. I'm so glad I got to see Michael at the "SHS Alumni Banquet" in June. It had been so long since I had saw him. Robin & Cheryl I love you both.
