Michael Steed

MICHAEL ALAN STEED, 67, of Sidney, passed away at 8:30 AM on Monday, September 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born on June 4, 1950 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the son of the late Dewey Steed and Barbara (McCoy) Curran whom survives in Springfield.

In November of 1984 Michael married the former Cathy Rhodeback and she survives in Sidney. He is also survived by seven children; Natalie (Dave) Pizzolo of Niskayuna, NY, Tim Steed of Marienville, PA, Amanda (Steve) Cucuzza of Staten Island, NY, Autumn Brideweser of Sidney, Gary (Jennifer) Boswell of Sidney, Christopher (Leslie) Steed of Bellefontaine and Lauren (Darek) Zook of DeGraff, seven grandchildren, two sisters, Cheryl Elam of Springfield and Robin Willis of Charleston, WV.

Mr. Steed was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Army National Guard. He worked as a carpenter for Hepner's Windows of Piqua for over 30 years.  Michael was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed Theater and Music and was a big sports fan. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them having cookouts and making many memories.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney with Pastor Samuel Deckler officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:30 PM until hour of service.
