I would like to send my deepest thoughts to the Tackas family. I remember Mr Tackas as my football coach for Bridgeview Middle School. Bill always had a way of doing things his own way. When I heard the news on channel 7, my heart just collapsed. Bill was a good man as mentioned in his obituary. I send my prayers to his family and give my well deepest sympathy to all the Tackas family.

Just want you to know he was one of my favorite teachers and I was shocked to see him sitting in the hospital nursery rocking his new baby (Troy Ann) on July 14th when our son Wade was born. How could my former teacher be having a baby? We always think our teachers are old...he wasn''''t. He was beaming from ear to ear! He was indeed special to many of us.

The loss of Mr. Takacs is immeasurable.  He worked behind the scenes to create a higher quality of life for the people around him.  From his work at our church to his encouragement of all athletes, male or female, he made certain that the people he met would get his best effort to help them succeed. Through the years, he took many of us to the Junior Olympics and created opportunities for our success through high school.  Although he is gone, my respect and admiration for his approach to people and life in general will always remain.

I am very tearful this morning as I read of Mr. Takacs'' accident. In thirty seconds I was back in his class and swooning over him along with most every girl in school that had him in class...or even passed him in the hall! what a hunk he was! When our Home Ec teacher started dating him!!??? Oh my gosh were we all jealous! What fun it was to watch for them in the hall as they would grin at on another or be seen whispering in a corner....we teased her of course. Then they married and jealousy flaired again, but just for a minute, becasue she was a pretty cool gal herself, and over the years I cannot express how often her words of advice and teaching comes back to me when needed. I wish I could have shared my sympathy with family when she passed away, but this oppotunity couldn''t be ignored as I shed a tear for you and with you this morning. May God richly bless you, his children and her children, and grandchildren, as your wonderful parents blessed so many of us! My deepest sympathy to you.

To the Takas families,
I worked for several years with your Mother at Sidney Highschool as we prepared meals everyday for the highschool or satelite food to elementaries. I actually lived close to you in Orange twnship. I remember your Mothers' leadership for our kitchens, a wonderful supervisor to us, and a good friend to me. I remember your Father, and you kids growing up through the years. I'm so sorry to hear of your Fathers' horrible accident.
My prayers are to comfort you all. Sandra Burgoyne Risinger
