Zechariah Cade Yantis

ZECHARIAH CADE YANTIS, 22 of Sidney, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 23, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 26, 2003, in Sidney, Ohio.

He is survived by his mother, Christina Yantis, grandmother, Frances Yantis, brother, Zared Yantis all of Sidney, uncle, DJ (Maria) Yantis of Dayton, and cousin, Paul Yantis. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald L. Yantis Sr.

Zech was a member of Lighthouse Ministries. He was a funny individual with an infectious laugh. He loved playing his video games with dreams of someday becoming a YouTuber. He enjoyed watching SpongeBob SquarePants and he absolutely loved the Christmas season. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, and they will miss him dearly.

Funeral Services for Zech will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Hill officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Zech’s final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua.
