William "Bill" O. Boyer

ANNA - WILLIAM (BILL) O. BOYER, yep that's me.  Surprised just like everyone else my name is on this obituary list. I was born on July 16, 1942 on a farm just outside Degraff, OH. On November 9, 2020, I passed on to the other side to be reunited with my beloved bride Rebecca (Sweigart) whom I married on September 30, 1961.  My parents Maurice and Marjorie (Mohr) Boyer gave me a sister Jean (Boyer) Abbott, which have all passed before me.

My wonderful children I had to leave behind...Scott (Tami) Boyer of Anna, Don (Julie) Boyer of Anna, Julie (Paul) Henman of Sidney, Steve Boyer of Anna and Kevin (Jenny) Boyer of Sidney.

Eleven amazing grandkids I have enjoyed over the years...Shennon Boyer, Michael (Rose) Boyer, Nicholas Boyer, Thomas DuLaney, Steven (Emily) DuLaney, Kerry DuLaney, Cody (Jessica) Henman, Stephanie Henman, Zachary Boyer, Zara (Chris) Brown and Zoe Boyer.  I also have 11 great grandchildren with a 12th due in December.  Boy will I miss watching these kids grow and develop their minds and personalities.  But I will be watching from above.

I graduated from Sidney High School in 1960 where I was a proud member of the all boy marching band.  I graduated in 1975 from Sinclair Community College earning an Associate Degree in Major Electronics.

I worked at numerous places over the years and finally retired from IAG in Sidney, OH in 2008.  I served nearly 20 years as a volunteer fireman with Anna Fire Department retiring in August 2002.

I will dearly miss my outings with my son Steve, we would chase down trains and sit and watch them for hours.  What great adventures we had.

Please join my family in a celebration of life at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home in Sidney on Friday, November 13th, 2020.  Viewing will be from 10am-12pm with the funeral following at 12 pm.

I'm not one for dressing up so come in comfortable, casual clothes.  I will be wearing my usual jeans and a flannel shirt.  Till we meet again....
