Wayne Harold King

Wayne Harold King, 64, of Sidney, passed away at 4:10 A.M. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at his residence. He was born October 5, 1962, in LaFollette, Tennessee, to the late Harold and Violet (Murphy) King.

On April 24, 2004, Wayne married Gwendolyn (Green) King, who survives along with his child, April Huff; stepchildren, Toneshi (Joe) Hast of Columbus, David (Angie) Fisher, and Dusti Fisher, both of Sidney; and two siblings, Loraine Couchot and Carl King of Sidney. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian King.

Wayne was always someone who liked to stay busy. He loved working outside and working on cars. He was known for loving all animals and had a kind heart for local strays. Wayne also deeply loved his wife, Gwen, and cherished spending time with her.
