Virginia Gail Swank

Virginia Gail Swank, age 75, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 9:28 PM at home. She was born on August 14, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of John and Ruth (Steuer) Rawn.

Virginia is survived by her loving family, husband, Kenneth Swank, children, Ellen (John) Fuqua of Anna, Mary Swank of Sidney, and Brian (Stephanie) Swank of Sidney, siblings, David Rawn of Towson, Maryland and Kathy Watts of Hanover, Pennsylvania.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter.

Virginia was an elementary school music teacher. She was a lifeguard in high school and after college. She loved singing in Sweet Adeline Chorus. She was a gifted musician, played clarinet, violin, piano and organ. She was a dedicated church organist and loved playing in church. She was also a very gifted artist and painter. She loved painting with her grandchildren. Most of all she was women of faith and a dedicated wife, mom, and grandma. She will be missed by all who love her.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Sidney Apostolic Temple with Pastor Mark Hina, officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromefh.com
