Virginia (Fledderjohann) Snyder-Lewis

VIRGINIA (FLEDDERJOHANN) SNYDER-LEWIS, 94, of Sidney passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at 6:30 AM at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. She was born on April 30, 1928 in New Knoxville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond and Irene (Schrolucke) Fledderjohann. On June 29, 1946, Virginia married Robert Snyder, who preceded her in death August 30, 2006. Virginia then married Clifford Lewis, who preceded her in death April 7, 2020.

She is survived by eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by three children, Elaine Stewart, David Snyder and Gary Snyder, a grandson and two siblings, Evelyn Sudmann and Eldred Fledderjohann.

Mrs. Lewis was employed by Copeland Corporation as a Laborer for over 38 years. She also worked at KMART for 5 years and Elder Beerman in Piqua for over 10 years. Virginia enjoyed Crocheting in her spare time. She was a past member of Full Gospel Community Church in Sidney. 

Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 26, 2022 at 12 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Rev. Allen Sudmann officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney, Ohio. Friends may visit from 10:30 AM up until time of service at the funeral home.
