Virginia L. (Albers) Schiff

VIRGINIA L. (ALBERS) SCHIFF, 72, of Anna passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 1:19 PM at James Cancer Center Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was born on June 30, 1949 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Alfonse and Irene (Barhorst) Albers. On April 28, 1973, Virginia married Steven C. Schiff, who preceded her in death December 15, 1993. 

She is survived by one son Mike (Katie) Schiff of Jamestown; two grandchildren, Craig and Elizabeth and two siblings, George (Cila) Albers of Brazil and Judy Albers of Botkins. Virginia was preceded in death by two siblings, Charles and Jane Albers.

Mrs. Schiff retired from the Anna Income Tax Office as an accountant. Virginia also worked for the Franklin Township Office as a clerk for over 20 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching her grandchildren's 4-H events at the fair. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in McCartyville. 

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday August 3, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Rev. Michael Althauser officiating. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders, Ohio. Friends may visit Monday, August 2, 2021 from 4 PM until 7 PM and Tuesday from 9:30 AM up until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelby County 4-H Foundation or Anna Community Branch Library in Virginia's memory.
