Vincent Brock Jackson

VINCENT "VINCE" BROCK JACKSON, 40, of Sidney passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 8:15 PM at Wilson Health. He was born on April 11, 1982 in Lima, Ohio, the son of Melvin and Nancy (Hurley) Jackson.  In 2013 he met his fiancé, Nichole "Nicki" Meyers. At Christmas in 2018, with his quirkiness he proposed and made her his fiancé. They planned to marry in the future year.

He is survived by four children, Brock Jackson, Xaviar Balensiefer, Kaiden Teegarden and Paysley Teegarden all of Sidney; two siblings, William (Amanda) Jackson of Wapakoneta and Jennifer (Greg) Meier of Maria Stein; grandparents, Myrtle (Ralph) Nuss of Wapakoneta; two nieces, Allyssa and Ava and five nephews, Coty, Isaiah, Kollynn, Maverick and Jackson. Vince was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Phyllis Hurely and John and Annie Jackson.

Vince had an absolute love for a lot of things. His family being number one. He had many friends over the years, rather it be from school, workplaces or just from meeting them that same day. His smile was very heart warming. He loved his dogs Ross and Diesel. Also had a love for outdoors and scrapping was his number one hobby.  Vince loved taking trips, traveled a lot to see many new things, Las Vegas and Chicago were some of his favorite places to visit. He loved to camp, work outside and watch the sunset in various places. He would always say, "Nicki you need to come see the sky, its beautiful" which could have been at home or on vacation.

He was a graduate form Wapakoneta High School in 2001 and graduated from ITT Technical College September 2003 with Engineering Degree. Vince was currently an Engineer at Valance Industrial in Sidney. He has worked in the sheet metal industry for over 20 years. He has met a lot of good friends along his career. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church for over 33 years.

Funeral Services will be held Monday July 25, 2022 at 10 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Elder Rick Dorton and Pastor John Young officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney, Ohio. Friends may visit Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2 PM until 6 PM at the funeral home.
