Thomas "Tom" Martin Strunk

THOMAS MARTIN “TOM” STRUNK, 61, of Port Jefferson, passed away at 7:27 A.M. Monday, February 9, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on January 4, 1965 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Roger and Sharon (Kuck) Strunk.

On August 30, 2008 he married Darla (Clark) Strunk, who survives, along with three children, Tabatha (Andy) Newman of Piqua, Nathan Waggoner of Sidney, and Brandy Huddleston of Sidney; ten grandchildren, Kylie, Jayden, Karisma, Keaton, Zoe, Mackayden, Isaiah, Mackenzie, Zane, and Twila; two brothers, Tony (Kim) Strunk, and Mark (Donna) Strunk, both of Sidney; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, who helped raise him as one of her own, Patricia Gail; and one sister, Lisa Rene Petry.

Tom was a kind and loving man who loved the Lord. He worked as a truck driver for most of his career and truly enjoyed his work. A jack-of-all-trades, he could fix nearly anything and was a gifted mechanic and carpenter. He enjoyed family trips to Kentucky and cherished time spent with his loved ones. When his health made it difficult to attend church, he was blessed to have church at home with his family on many occasions, led by Pastor Earnie Jones. Tom was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 16, 2025 at 2 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Earnie Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
