Susan A Brown

Susan A. Brown, 75, of Sidney, passed away at 5:55 A.M. Friday, June 12, 2026, at Vancrest, Troy. She was born September 9, 1950, to the late Vernon and Norma Jean (Troup) Bergman.

On May 6, 1972, she married J.B. Brown, who survives her along with her sister, Nancy J. (Michael) Reid of Lancaster; her nieces and nephews, Patrick Vernon, Adam, Katie, Bethann, Amy, and Jeanne; her great nieces and great nephews, Cindy, Samantha, Jacob, Morgan, Brennan, Kaylan, Abby, Andrew, Ryley, and Kinzie; and her great-great nieces and great-great nephews, Soren, Mia, Charlotte, Vernon, Maci, and Dean, all of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald W. Bergman and Daniel W. Bergman; and her aunt, Maxine Reese.

Susan was a 1968 graduate of Sidney High School. She started working at Copeland in 1969 and worked there for 45 years, retiring in 2014. Susan loved to travel to Hawaii, Alaska, and she even went to Ireland twice. She loved to spend time by the pool and by the lake, and eating out with her husband J.B., with whom she did everything.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 4 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Fr. Steve Mondiek officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 P.M. until the time of the service. Condolences to the family may be made at (www.cromesfh.com)
