Sheryl George

Sheryl George, age 58, of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 4:40 AM at home. She was born on July 15, 1965, in Columbus, the daughter of Richard and Dorothy (Myer) Suthers.

Sheryl is survived by her loving family, partner, Darrin Day, children, Jessica (Alysha Gross) Suthers and Milton (Jillena Williams) George, and Jasmine Sprowl, grandchildren, Madge Stanley, Cody Kulow, Rylee Moser, Hayden Rivera, Barrett George, Emily Williams, and Lucus George, siblings, Sandra Oliver and Susan James.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Michael George, and a brother Steven Suthers.

Sheryl was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was always there when needed, wither it be good times or bad. She would always tell you the straightforward truth wither you wanted to hear it or not. Beyond her outspokenness, she enjoyed spending time outdoors, attending sporting events of her grandchildren, watching her many tv series at home and most recently, attending church every Sunday.

She will be deeply missed and remembered in many ways by all of those she had crossed paths. And lastly, I speak for us all, we all love you and will one day be with you again.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Noon at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney with Pastor Mark Hina, officiating. Friends may visit from 10:00AM until time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromesfh.com
