Obituary
Sharon Kay Hilgefort, age 82, of Sidney, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 2:33 AM at Fair Haven Shelby County Home. She was born the daughter of Regis and Alvina (Groff) Rousseau on April 13, 1941, in Sidney.
Sharon is survived by her loving family, children, Michael (Amanda) Hilgefort and Michele (Kent) Allison both of Sidney, grandchildren, Avery Allison, Drew Allison, Stephen Merold, and Hayden Spurgeon, and a sister, Marcia Spoltman.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Gary.
Sharon enjoyed many hobbies and activities, cross stitching, playing cards, working puzzles, diamond painting, and playing on her iPad. She was a member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church. She retired from Ross Aluminum where she was a secretary and payroll clerk. Most of all, Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who love her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 324 S. Ohio Ave., Sidney, OH 45365. Burial to follow at Shelby Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 21, 2023, 4-7:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, OH 45365.
