Sharon S. (Plummer) Clark

SHARON S. CLARK, 81 of Sidney, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 6:10 AM at Landings of Sidney. She was born on December 19, 1943, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Cecil and Helen (Johnson) Plummer. On December 31, 1990, she married James Clark who preceded her in death December 29, 2007.

She is survived by two children: Michael (Jill) Gates, and Dawn (Randy) VanHoose both of Sidney, four grandchildren: Erica (Joe) Righter, Erinn Dillon, Ryan Gates, and Adam Gates, and five great-grandchildren: Olivia, Hayley, Brayden, Drelyn, and Sergio. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Marimae Livingston, and Celia Arthur.

Sharon was a graduate of Sidney High School class of 1961. She worked with her husband for the family business, Clark’s Machine & Tool, as an administrative assistant. She loved spending her free time reading and watching old westerns.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
