Sharen Elaine (Davis) Lenhart

SHAREN ELAINE LENHART, 71of Piqua, formerly of Sidney, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 2:32 PM at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. She was born on March 23, 1954, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Donald “Peach” and Ruth “Betty” Davis.

Sharen is survived by two children: Michelle (Bill) Barga of Sidney, and Shawn (Ashley) Lane of Piqua, two sisters: Karen (Joe) Centers of Sidney, and Twilah (Kelly) Lee of Maplewood, nine grandchildren: Colton, Kelsey, Noah, Josh, Krystal, Jessica, Ryan, Brittany, and Dawson, numerous great-grandchildren, three nieces: Charlotte Allen, Teresa Spiess, and Heather Minnich, numerous great-nieces and nephews, her K-9 companion, Roxie, and grand dog, Ruger. She was preceded in death by niece, Ciearra Everett.

Sharen was a 1973 graduate of Sidney High School and earned her associates degree from Edison College. She worked as a special needs teacher and was also a volunteer at the Sidney Animal Shelter. She was a member of Grace Church in Piqua.

Sharen enjoyed origami and was fond of peacocks. She loved horses, whether showing in 4-H as a child, or horseback riding. She also loved farming and Allis Chalmers Tractors. She was a selfless person who always put others before herself. Above all, she loved her family and the time spent with them. She will be dearly missed.

In keeping with her wishes, Sharen will be cremated and the family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
