Sandra "Sandy" L. Daum

SANDRA L. “SANDY” DAUM, 78, of Sidney, passed away at 6:55 A.M. Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. She was born on August 21, 1945 in Marysville, Ohio, the daughter of the late James and Mary (Leonard) Wilt. On March 13, 1963 she married Thomas Daum, who preceded her in death on July 21, 2015.

Sandy is survived by two daughters, Mary (Jeff) Lawrence of Sidney, and Becky (Jody) Collier of Anna; four grandchildren, Amber (Dustin) Ike, Ashleigh (Justin) Radick, Brayden (Kate) Collier, and Brielle Collier; five great-grandchildren, Emma, Jordyn, Chase, Axel, Graham, and one on the way; five siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister.

Sandy spent most of her life in Sidney. In her later years, she and Tom would spend half of the year at their second home in Fort Myers, Florida where they made several lasting friendships. Sandy enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing bingo. Her greatest joy was her family and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 1 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Kaufman officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:30 A.M. until the time of service. Her final resting place will be at Fletcher Cemetery.
