Ruby Lorine Brautigam

RUBY LORINE BRAUTIGAM, 91, of Sidney, passed away at 11:45 P.M. Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Wilson Health. She was born on March 18, 1932 in Bluefield, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Cance and Nan Goins. On June 1, 1957 she married Eugene E. “Gene” Brautigam, who preceded her in death on September 20, 2006.

Ruby was a homemaker and caregiver to her parents-in-law for more than 17 years while her husband, Eugene worked on the family farm. She is survived by many cousins, a nephew, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She also leaves behind a dear cousin, Mary Whitehurst from Gray, Georgia, who would call and talk with Ruby weekly, reminiscing about growing up together and keeping up to date on family events.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Kris Geise officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery.
