Roy C. Miller

Roy C. Miller, age 80, of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 8:41 PM at home. He was born on June 20, 1942, the son of Alfred and Bessie (Wilson) Miller in Stearns, Kentucky (Mine 48).

Roy is survived by his loving and devoted partner of 54 years, Larry D. Leapley, a sister, Goldie (Cecil) Gilreath of Pine Knot, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Jesse Miller, Bettie Miller, Delmer Mathews, Lora Privett, Claymon Marlow, Alfred Marlow, Arnold Marlow, and Ethel (Ledford) Foster.

Roy enjoyed many things during his life, he had a “Green Thumb” and loved growing everything, antiquing, and riding around seeing the county side and all it has to offer. He loved his companion dogs and cats. He was also very creative and artistic. Roy was a loving partner, brother, and uncle. Roy was loved by his friends and will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney with Pastor James Oates, officiating. Burial to follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromesfh.com
