Ronald Lee Wolfe Sr.

RONALD LEE WOLFE SR., age 85 of Sidney, departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 9:20 AM at Fair Haven Shelby County Home. He was born on April 29, 1938 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Francis and Agnes (Moore) Wolfe.

On December 30, 1978 Ron married Rebecca (Marshall) who survives. He also leaves behind five sons: Ronald Wolfe Jr. of St. Paris, James Wolfe, William “Bill” (Lynesa) Wolfe, Christopher (Wendy) Wolfe all of Sidney, and Marshall (Martha) Wolfe of Middletown, two siblings, Frances (Betty) King of Springfield, and Eileen Boyer of Anna, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five siblings: Thomas Eugene Wolfe, Richard Wolfe, Dorothy Duncan, Daniel Wolfe, and Mary Lou Wolfe.

Mr. Wolfe attended Sidney High School and attended Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO. He worked as a tool & die maker for Wayne Trail Technologies in Ft. Loramie, retiring in 2013.

Ron was a lover of music and enjoyed playing the guitar and piano. He was a sports enthusiast, coaching multiple youth sports throughout the years. He also enjoyed time on the golf course with his boys, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals Fan.

Ron was a member of Grace Baptist Church where Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Pastors Jim Alter and John Butts officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
