Roger Dale (Jr.) Gibson

ROGER DALE GIBSON JR., age 33 of Sidney, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024. He was born on December 22, 1990, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Roger Dale Gibson Sr. and Rita (Davis) Gibson of Sidney.

On October 8, 2020, Roger married his best friend Mary (Maxwell) who survives along with Roger’s son, KC Gibson, two siblings; Natalie (Kevin Slife) Gibson, and Makali (David Pickering) Gibson both of Sidney, nieces and nephews; Lily, Jaxton, Eastin, Elliot, Elijah, and many aunts, uncles and endless in laws. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Don and Ruth Davis, and uncles, Rick Gibson, and Odis Day.

Roger was a graduate of Sidney High School Class of 2009. He was the owner/operator of ODGibbee Botanicals & Wax.

Roger was an intelligent, loving and caring soul. He had the biggest heart and a smile big enough to make ANYONE smile. He loved working with bees and carrying on his uncle, Odis’ legacy.  His son was his whole world, he loved spending time with those he loved and would do just about anything to make someone smile. He will be greatly missed by anyone who knew.

There will be a Visitation to Celebrate Roger’s Life on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 4 to 6 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
