Robert Romanowski Obituary

ROBERT LEE ROMANOWSKI, 86 of Sidney, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, at 2:36 PM at Wilson Health. He was born on February 13, 1939, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of the late Albert and Velma (Cowan) Romanowski. On June 28, 1975, he married Connie (Fridley) who preceded him in death April 26, 2002.

He is survived by two sons: Matt (Karin) Romanowski of Anna, and Mitch Romanowski of Sidney, three brothers: Howard Romanowski of Rockford, TN, Tommy Romanowski of Birchwood, WI, and Albert Romanowski of Greenville, TN, and seven grandchildren: Trinity, Massie, Conner, Madison, Brayden, Logan, and Ian.

Mr. Romanowski served his country in the US Navy from 1957 to 1961. He was a machinist and CNC programmer who taught computers and machining at Hi-Point JVS in Bellefontaine, OH. He was a 51-year member of Anna United Methodist Church, a member Anna Historical Society, and a former volunteer for the Anna Rescue Squad.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Anna United Methodist Church with Pastor RJ Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
