Robert Lee Morris, Jr.

ROBERT LEE MORRIS, JR., 70, of Sidney, passed away at 9:24 A.M. Friday, February 24, 2023 at Wilson Health. He was born on May 16, 1952 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of the late Robert Sr. and Shirley (Miller) Morris.

On September 11, 1982 he married the former Betty Ann Jones, who survives him along with eight children, Melissa (Billy) Riddle, Melanie (Robert) House, Joe (Amanda) Morris, Kristin Ellis, Rhonda (William) LeMaster, Patrick (Teresa) LeMaster, Mark LeMaster, and Jessie (Angel) Hatfield; twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Vickie Yelton, Gary (Marcia) Morris, Cheryl (David) Wren, Cathy (Mark) Bateman, and Randy (Karen) Morris. He was preceded in death by son, Christopher LeMaster; and three grandchildren.

Robert was retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked as a machine repairman for more than 20 years. He was a member of New Life Church in Port Jefferson. Robert enjoyed going camping and riding his Harley. He also enjoyed family vacationing in Tennessee and celebrating his favorite holiday, the 4th of July. Robert was loved greatly and will be dearly missed by his family, church family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 2 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Jessie Hatfield and Pastor Earnie Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1 P.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Church in Robert’s memory.
