Robert Horen Obituary

ROBERT ELDON HOREN, age 59 of Piqua, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at 11:36 AM at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born on December 4, 1962 in Trenton, Michigan, the son of the late Mary Virginia (Drake) Horen and Eldon Jon Horen of Covington.

He is survived by two daughters, Angelena Horen, and Kalena Horen both of Norfolk, VA, one son, Cameron Horen of Piqua, three grandchildren, Caleb, Autumn, and Kamden, siblings, Debbie Oda of Greenville, Susan McCormack of Melbourne, FL, Lisa Crutchfield of Sidney, Patti Hoover of Phillipsburg, and special friend and flying buddy, Daryl Grossnickle. He was preceded in death by infant son, Garry Horen.

Robert was a member of Upper Valley Fun Fliers - AMA. He loved flying his planes, fishing, motorcycle riding, and mushroom hunting.

Cremation Services have been entrusted to Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Private Services will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family. Robert's final resting place will be at Miami Memorial Park in Covington.
