Robert William Burch

ROBERT WILLIAM BURCH, 79 of Jackson Center, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 8:34 AM at his home. He was born on August 17, 1946, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the son of the late Willis E. and N. Eileen (Polhamus) Burch. On February 6, 1965, he married Marlene L. (Coleman) who preceded him in death December 9, 2002.

Robert is survived by two children: Michael R. (Mollie) Burch of Jackson Center, OH, and Dianne R. (Darrin) Cavinder of Anna, OH, three brothers: Gary (Sophie) Burch of Ft. Loramie, OH, Jeff (Jan) Burch of Harrod, OH, and Keith Burch of Sidney, OH, five grandchildren: Elisha Burch, Wyatt Burch, Amanda Cavinder, Emily (Sam) Everett, and Tyler Burch, one great-grandson, Henry Everett, and one great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by one son, Steven Burch, one brother, Billy Burch, and one great-granddaughter, Elyse Everett.

Robert was a graduate of Jackson Center High School Class of 1964. He retired as a truck driver from Sidney Truck & Storage. He also worked throughout the years as a farmer. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Gathering on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 17714 Montra Rd, Jackson Center, OH 45334. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
