Richard “Dick” E. Sharp Age 75 of Anna, Ohio passed away on June 4th, 2026, at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born on October 14, 1950, the son of the late James and Betty (Brewer) Sharp. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Linda (Barga) Sharp and his siblings Jim Sharp, Don Sharp, Linda (Sharp) Taylor, Mary Ann (Sharp) Swindell and Tom Sharp.
Dick is survived by his children: Richard (Donna) Sharp of Marysville, OH., Chad (Amy) Sharp of Sidney, OH., and Austin (Jennie) Sharp of Anna, OH., his brothers Harry Sharp of Jackson Center, OH., and Floyd Sharp of St. Marys, OH., as well as his 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and Friends.
Dick was a 1969 Graduate of Sidney High School and spent his life working as a Carpenter and Mason.
Dick enjoyed time with his family, going to car shows, watching NASCAR, watching movies, and gardening. He loved Muscle cars and working on them and also enjoyed fishing. When his children were young, he enjoyed leading their Royal Ranger troop and was learning to fly an airplane. He loved a gift his wife Linda gave him most of all because she gave him a pet, it was a pot belly pig that he named Sambo!
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 15th, 2026, at Solid Rock Church located at 2745 State Route 29 Sidney, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 AM until the time of service. Graveside services will follow at Graceland Cemetery with a dinner immediately after at the church fellowship hall.
