Richard Lee Wolfe Sr.

RICHARD LEE WOLFE SR., 74, of Fort Loramie passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 at 4:42 AM. He was born on March 22, 1950 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Jack Wolfe and Mary (Schaub) Wolfe, who survives. On May 13, 1976, Richard married the former Martha Hole, who preceded him in death March 21, 2014.

He is survived by two children, Mary Bunger of Sidney and Richard Lee Wolfe Jr. of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren, Michael Joseph Francis, Jonathan Wayne Francis and Christopher Shawn Francis; great-grandson, Jasper Lee McCalle-Francis; brother, Harry Frey of Sidney; nephew Kory Frey and niece, Angie Wood. Richard was preceded in death by brother, Warner Wolfe.

Mr. Wolfe was self-employed who owned the former Rich Mart N-Guns.  He also worked for Oldhams as a truck driver. Richard enjoyed shooting and riding his motorcycle. He was a dedicated father, son, brother and grandfather to his family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday September 5, 2024 at 12 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Pastor John Young officiating. Burial will follow at Fletcher Cemetery in Fletcher, Ohio. Please wear appropriate attire in case of inclement weather at the cemetery.  Friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
