Richard DeForde

RICHARD DEFORDE, 61, of Sidney, passed away at 10:02 AM Monday, June 25, 2018 at his residence surrounded by family.  He was born on November 3, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late William and Edythe (Humphreys) DeForde. 

On June 26, 2010 he was married to the former Rebecca Urick, who survives along with five children, Dawn (Mike) DeForde, Mandy Lhamon, Matthew (Shelly) DeForde, Kelli (Joe) DeForde, and Hunter Cook; seven grandchildren, Kayla Evans, Isaiah Brown, Brooke DeForde, Michael Evans Jr., Myles Joseph DeForde, Clarke Elizabeth Jones, and Nathan Ezell; and two siblings, Janice Vickers and William "Bill" DeForde. 

Richard was a career truck driver of more than 36 years.  He was an avid gun hobbyist and member of the NFA.  Richard enjoyed taking trips boating on Lake Erie and loved to spend time with his grandchildren. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S.
