Rhonda Davis

Rhonda (Rutherford) Davis, age 61, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 13th.

Rhonda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Born in Toledo Ohio and raised in Sidney Ohio, she carried the spirit of the South with her wherever she went.

She is survived by her children, Aubree Davis and Dusty Davis, both of Van Wert; her beloved grandchildren, Hanna, Lucas, Dezaray and Myai, who brought immense joy to her life.

Rhonda is also survived by her siblings: Becky Stringfield of Sidney, Joetta Lovins of La Follette, Tennessee, RD Rutherford of Sidney, and Ron (Karen) Rutherford of Las Vegas. She leaves behind cherished nieces and nephews, including Ashley Rutherford of Las Vegas Nevada, Tyler and Heather Stringfield of Orlando, Florida and Jason and Tessa Stringfield of Quincy, Ohio.

Family was everything to Rhonda. She adored visits from her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and always made her home a welcoming place filled with laughter, good food, and love. She was known for her delicious Southern-style cabbage and bacon boil and her unmatched ability to bring people together.

A proud Tennessee Vols fan, Rhonda never missed a game. She was also an avid NASCAR enthusiast and a loyal supporter of Dale Earnhardt Sr.
