Rhonda Jean (Maples) Brandenburg

RHONDA JEAN BRANDENBURG, age 69 of Sidney, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at 4:21 AM at home. She was born on August 5, 1954, in Harlan, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Paul and Beulah Mae (Pierce) Maples. On December 23, 1972, she married Ernest Lee Brandenburg who preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by two children: Christy (Skip) Simindinger of Sidney, and Theresa (James May) Brandenburg of Burr Oak, MI, two siblings: Paulette (Ben) Flinn of Houston, and David (Lynn) Maples of Moraine, OH, five grandchildren: Malik Moton, Kazlyn Floyd, Christopher, Morgan, and Ryan Napier, and two great-grandchildren: Oakley Torres, and Samuel Napier. She was preceded in death by brother, R.D. Maples.

Rhonda worked most of her life as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed collecting dolls, planting flowers, and being outside. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton for their special care in Rhonda's final days.
 
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 3 to 5 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Private Graveside Services will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.
