Rex C. Bailar

Rex C. Bailar, age 74 of Clermont, Florida, formerly of Rosewood, Ohio passed away the evening of Saturday, May 7, 2022 at his residence.  He was born December 23, 1947 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of the late Willis and Ruth (Stiles) Bailar.

On December 13, 1966 Rex married the former Penny Bricker who survives along with two children, Tami Bailar and Toby (Mylene) Bailar both of Davenport, Florida; two sisters, Bebe (late Kenneth) Smail of Rosewood, Ohio and Susan (Dr. Arthur) Gendleman of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchild, Lukas Bailar and step-grandchildren, Robert Tuazon and Gian Dacanay.

Rex was a ’65 Graham High School graduate and farmed in Champaign and Shelby counties until he retired from farming in 1995. He and Penny then relocated to Florida where he was a realtor enjoying the Florida lifestyle with their dog Molly.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, with Rev. Eileen Hix officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 A.M. until the time of service.
