REBECCA A. ELSASS, 83, of Sidney passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12:26 PM at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on June 24, 1938 in, Shelby County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred (Mees) Fries. On April 28, 1956, Rebecca married Wilfred Elsass, who preceded her in death September 29, 2007.

She is survived by daughter, Lori (Dave) Dicke of Sidney and grandson, Jacob Dicke of Sidney. Rebecca was preceded in death by sister, Virginia Crim.

Mrs. Elsass was a Homemaker all her life. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and reading. Rebecca loved spending time with her grandson, Jacob. She was a member of Full Gospel Community Church. The family would like to thank the care staff of Daycity Hospice for taking care of Rebecca.

In honoring Rebecca wishes, her body will be cremated. No services are to be held. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney.
