Obituary
RALPH "DAVID" LECKEY, age 67 of Sidney, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 10:04 PM at Wilson Health. He was born on January 25, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Ronald E. and Norma Jean (Crotinger) Leckey.
He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, and was preceded in death by an infant brother, Donald Leckey.
David was a 1973 graduate of Sidney High School. He retired from Alcoa in Sidney. He loved music, especially classic rock, and enjoyed attending concerts. As his favorite song goes, he was known as a "Simple Man." He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes fan, and was a huge animal lover, especially the family dogs, Ruby and Lacy.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Fair Haven for the love and care given to David and his family during his stay.
Cremation Services for David have been entrusted to Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation (SCARF). Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromesfh.com
