Priscilla Rae (Apple) Ike-Baucom

Priscilla Rae (Apple) Ike-Baucom, age 85 of Kettlersville, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 1:10 PM at Heritage Center in Minster, Ohio. She was born in Covington, Ohio on October 6, 1938, daughter of the late John Ray and Ruth (Routson) Apple of Houston, Ohio. In October of 1956, she married John W. Ike who preceded her in death in 2002. In December of 2005, she married Earnest R. Baucom who preceded her in death in 2019. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Shaner, of Covington, Ohio.

She is survived by four sons: Ronald (Jeri), Donald (Sharon), John (Amy) Ike all of Sidney, and Tim (Betty) Ike of Kettlersville, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and sisters-in-law: Jean Swob, Lelia McKibben, Annabelle (Bill) Brown, and Irene (Ron) Wilson.

Priscilla retired from the Shelby County Recorder’s Office after many years of service. She was a member of Immanuel Church of Kettlersville and the Kettlersville-Van Buren Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She loved all types of crafts, crocheting, sewing, gardening, and refinishing and caning chairs.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Immanuel Church of Kettlersville, 8888 OH-274, Kettlersville, OH, with Pastor Ed Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow at Schwaberow Cemetery in New Bremen, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
