Pong Rounds

Pong Rounds age 66 of Sidney passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on November 10,1958 in Nong Bua, Laos the daughter of Fong and Kham.

Pong is survived by her loving family, husband Ernest Rounds, children Tye Thongvylay and Amy Buck, grandchildren Alexis Slinker, Katie Sowders, Layla Garcia, Sunn Thongvylay, Hayden Thongvylay, and Niveah Thongvylay, great grandchildren Roman, Layla, Ace, and Londyn.

Pong is preceded in death by her son Kham Thongvylay.

Pong and her family were refugees of the Vietnam War and made it to America due to the good graces of The First Christian Church of Richmond, Indiana. Since then she worked hard to create a comfortable and happy life for her family. She enjoyed being outdoors whether it was fishing, foraging, spending time in her garden, and of course spending time with loved ones. She will be greatly missed. 

Time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Noon at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday 10:00 AM until the time of service. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromesfh.com
