PATSY JEAN WATKINS, 73 of Minster, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 7:13 AM at her home. She was born on June 6, 1952, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Wright and Helen (Ward) Watkins.
On May 9, 2015, Patsy married Robert “Bob” A. Kendall who survives along with daughter, Kenda Dawn (Michael) Perez of Edgewood, TX, step-daughters: Melisa (John) Graszl of Mansfield, OH, Tina (Tim) Kendall-Schroeder of Marengo, OH, and Sara (Julia) Weindruch of Parkville, MO, three siblings: Philip (Jayne) Watkins of Sidney, Jenny (Henry) Sanchez, Carl (Teresa) Watkins both of Minster, brother-in-law, James Harris of Rosewood, grandchildren: Tommie (Kaitlyn) Graszl, Daniel Graszl, Megan Schroeder, Amanda (Jordan) Schroeder Mihm, Kyle (Shannon) Schroeder, Allyssa Price, Sami Perez, and Matthew Acton, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews: Julia Watkins, Laura Bihl, Phillip Watkins, Anthony and Matt Casey, Doug and Steve Harris, Jeremy and Bryce Minnich, Toni Malone, Carlie Watkins, and Sally Noll, and pets: Chloe, Buddy, and Miss Kitty. She was preceded in death by brother, Paul Edward Watkins, sisters: Nancy L. Watkins-Casey and Ruth Ann Harris, and two nephews: Jeff Harris, and Timothy Watkins.
Patsy worked as an accountant for EWIE in the petroleum industry, contracted by Copeland Corporation. She had an abundant love of nature and family. She enjoyed camping with family and friends at the family campsite along the Miami River near Quincy, OH. The annual fireworks display at the campsite was one of her favorite activities. She also enjoyed boating on Lake Loramie, playing cards, OSU Buckeyes football, campfires with friends, stargazing, and all of God’s creatures.
Funeral Services for Patsy will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Tony and Bev Rampe officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
