Patricia "Pat" Renee Emert

Patricia “Pat” Renee Emert, age 63, of Sidney passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. She was born the daughter of Wilber “John” and Joan (Bricker) Emert on March 6, 1959, in Sidney who precede her in death.

Pat is survived by brother Jon Emert of Sidney

Pat was a graduate of Houston High School and Bluffton college. Pat loved going to church and used her beautiful voice to sing for several church choirs over her years. She also sang for numerous weddings for family and friends and many others. She was an avid reader and did needle point. Pat worked at the Christian Bookstore in Sidney.  She then became one of the original Walmart employees in the Sidney store where she held several positions for over 33 years.

 A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 23, 2022, at 7 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor David Chivington, officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 7PM. Donations can be made to Shelby County Humane Society.
