Pamela L. (Newkirk) Criss

PAMELA L. CRISS, 67, of Sidney passed away surrounded by her family Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 1:45 PM at Kindred Hospital in Dayton. She was born on November 13, 1953 in Clinton County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice (Collins) Newkirk. On December 31, 1982, Pamela married David Criss, who survives.

She is survived by two children, Brian Kratzer of Midland and Jillyn (Carson) George of Piqua; five grandchildren, Chelcia Criss, Benjamin Wilson, Tharren Kratzer, Kambrilyn Kratzer and Mackenzie Kratzer and three siblings, Bill Newkirk, Sue Clement and Robin Wilkin. Pamela was preceded in death by four siblings, Charles Newkirk, Kenny Newkirk, Donny Newkirk and Tim Newkirk.

Pam was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed painting, gardening and sitting by the ocean. Pamela loved spending time with her grandchildren and grand dog, Beans.

In honoring Pamela's wishes, her body will be cremated. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family. The family has requested memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116 in Pamela's memory.
