NORMAN CHARLES “NORM” KRIEGER, JR., 68, of Sidney, passed away at 4:54 P.M. Friday, January 30, 2026 at Kettering Health. He was born on January 20, 1958 in Beavercreek, Ohio, the son of the late Norman Sr. and Marceilla (Oiler) Krieger.
Norman is survived by his fiancé, Deborah Tennery; his three children, Kurt (Gabrielle Fields) Krieger, Angel (Katie Hornesby) Pahssen, and Tylor Clark, all three of Sidney; ten grandchildren, Evan, Elizabeth and Ethan Krieger, Tobias Ulibarri, Arianna and Ian Ordean, and Payton Pahssen, Aubrie, Kayleigh-Jean and Warren Clark; and one great-grandson, Waylon, on the way. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Sheriff.
Norm worked as an engineer at Copeland for nearly 30 years. During that time, he also owned and operated BK Grocery in Hardin for 24 years. Even after retiring, he remained active by working part time in the heating and air business. Many knew Norm from his 25 years as a DJ under the name “Stormin Norm,” a role he truly enjoyed. He had a lifelong love of fishing and took pride in his truck, but he was happiest spending time with his dogs and, above all, with his family.
Norm was a lay leader at Hardin Community Church in Hardin where the family will hold services on a later date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hardin Community Church in Norm’s memory. Condolences may be expressed to the family at, www.cromesfh.com
