Norman Jones

NORMAN EDWARD JONES, 78, of Sidney, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Dayton V.A. Medical Center. He was born on April 23, 1947 in Pulaski, Tennessee, the son of the late Ralph and Hazel (Henderson) Jones. On October 5, 1974 he married the former Lorena J. Elsass, who preceded him in death on April 27, 2023.

On November 10, 2024 Norman married the former Chris Evans, who survives, along with his three children, Jason (Rachele) Jones, Jessie Jones, and Tonya Gasson, all of Sidney. A loving husband, and beloved grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, Norman will be deeply missed by his family and friends alike.

In honor of Norman’s wishes, his body will be cremated. There will be no public services. The family will hold a private service with military honors performed by the United States Navy at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney. Condolences may be expressed to Norman’s family at, www.cromesfh.com
