Nola Mae (Osborne) Couch

NOLA MAE COUCH, age 87 of Piqua, formerly of Sidney, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at 6:45 PM at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County. She was born on November 8, 1934, in Claiborne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Luster and Grace (Partin) Osborne. On August 9, 1956, she married James "Jim" Couch who preceded her in death November 21, 2021.

She is survived by son, Jeffrey Couch of Battle Creek, MI, daughter, Debby (Todd) Morey of Piqua, daughter-in-law, Becky Couch of Sidney, nine grandchildren; Kristina (Tom) Moore, Jessica (Eric) Reid, Josh Couch, Sean Couch, Jonathan Couch, Alysha (Neil) Orsborne, Derik (Jennifer) Couch, Cody (Jalisa) Nutter and Faith Couch; fourteen great-grandchildren, three sisters; Jewel Marlow, Bonnie Richardson, and Robin Fisher, and three brothers; Bob, Marshall, and Arvel (Dianne) Osborne. She was preceded in death by son, "Grage" James Couch, three brothers, and three sisters.

Mrs. Couch retired as an assembler for Copeland Corporation. She was a member of Sidney Baptist Church.

Nola loved cooking and had a green thumb for gardening. She had a sharp wit and was "brutally honest." More than anything, she loved her family. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 1 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Earnie Jones officiating. The family will receive friends on January 8th from 11 AM until the time of service.
