Michael P. Olivieri

Micheal P. Olivieri May 16, 1966-May 16, 2024. Most people don’t die on their birthdays. Michael Olivieri did. He celebrated his 58th birthday by meeting his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Earth was just a journey to an amazing destination. He lived that journey to the fullest.

He was born in San Diego to Carl and Patty (Moore) Olivieri. The 4th of 5 boys that included Tony (Carolyn), Tim (Sandy), Jay, and Nick (Eddie). Being the child of a Navy officer, much of his younger years were spent moving from place to place where he made new friends and gathered many stories. His early adult years included time in the US Army where he proudly served as a Pathfinder in the 3rd/8th Cavalry Regiment. If you knew him at all, then you heard tales of his time served. On Jan 15th, 1994, after just a 4-month courtship, he married the former Jayne Watkins. Each having children from previous marriages, he took great pride in the blended family they became. He is survived by children Jaymie (Julian) Doty, Sy (Casey) Braun and Zaccariah (Rachelle) Olivieri. He never missed a chance to brag about them or his 8 grandchildren, Wesley, Evelyn, Fey, Henry, Connor, Charlotte, Cordelia and Cora.

He was bigger than life to so many. A great story teller and friend, he was always happy to share his life experiences and encourage others. He was a fierce enemy to those who came against his family and friends. He was a champion for those he loved. He will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held Sat. June 8th at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Church 1028 Park St. Sidney Ohio.
