Michael Greer

Michael Greer age 62 of Sidney passed away on Wednesday, August 7,

2024, at 9:01 AM at home. He was born on September 23, 1961, in Sidney

the son of Lee Roy and Charlotte (Droege) Greer who preceded him in

death.

Michael is survived by his loving family, son William (Jeanette) Greer,

granddaughter Scarlet, siblings Randy (Pam) Greer, Elaine (Dmitri)

Williams, and Craig (Rosey) Greer, along with many cousins, nieces and

nephews.

He was a graduate of Sidney High School in 1980 and Tiffin

University in 1985 with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. He was a very caring and

loving sibling, father and grandfather. He worked as a team lead at Angstrom  

Fiber in Sidney Ohio for many years. His interests included golf, bowling,  

visiting with his son and granddaughter, watching sports and reading Stephen

King novels. He enjoyed collecting many types of memorabilia from many

sports. His favorite sports teams were the Kanas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Reds,

Ohio State Buckeyes, Tennessee Volunteers, Columbus Blue Jackets,

New York Islanders, and Boston Celtics.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 7:00 PM at

Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday

from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
