Michael Lee Gephart

MICHAEL LEE GEPHART, 76, of Sidney passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 26, 2024 at his residence. He was born on June 11, 1948 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of the late Daniel and Helen (Sowers) Gephart. On June 10, 1977, Michael married the former Jane Falke, who survives.

He is survived by four children, Michael Gephart of Piqua, Daniel (Stacy) Gephart of Piqua, Jeffery (Carmen) Gephart of Sidney and Sara (Jason) Silburn of Dayton; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and sister, Sherry (Rodger) Brumbaugh of Piqua. Michael was preceded in death by three sisters.

Mr. Gephart retired from the Shelby County Highway Department working on the Road Crew. He proudly served in the United States Army. Michael enjoyed watching NASCAR and gardening.  He was a “Jack of all trades” who was always remodeling. He attended the House on the Rock Fellowship in Piqua.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday October 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Beechwood Cemetery in Lockington with Rev. Donald Trumbull officiating.
