Michael Robert Baidel

Michael Robert Baidel, 67, of Sidney, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at his home. He was born on October 10, 1957, in Monroe, Michigan, to the late Robert and Beverly (Knapp) Baidel.

Michael leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Jill (Kallio) Baidel; their two daughters, Natalie (Nicholas) Mucci of Columbus, OH, and Sarah (Joshua) Heidorn of Cincinnati, OH; and his two cherished grandchildren, Thomas and Madeline Heidorn. He is also survived by his four brothers, Mark, Patrick, William, and Robert Baidel, all of Michigan.

A proud veteran, Michael served his country in the United States Air Force from 1976 to 1996, earning the rank of Master Sergeant. After his military service, he continued to serve his community through his work at NK Parts Industries, Inc. in Sidney, where he retired as the Operations Manager.

Michael was a passionate fan of the Michigan Wolverines and the Detroit Lions. He also loved spending time on the golf course.

A Memorial Service will be held for Michael on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, with Randy Reed officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
