Melissa Sue (Perkins) Ritter

MELISSA SUE (PERKINS) RITTER, 53, of Piqua passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 12:01 AM at her residence. She was born on September 9, 1970 in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lee Roy Perkins and Ruth Lucille (Curtner) Perkins, who survives. On February 19, 2018, Melissa married Brian Craig Ritter, who survives.

She is survived by five children/stepchildren, Taylor Kress, Tytus Kress, Taidge Ritter, Bryce Ritter and Zach Ritter; and many grandchildren, and bother, Charlie (Kristy) Perkins of Sidney.

Melissa “meme” was a loved wife, mother, daughter and grandmother. She fought her battle with cancer the previous year. Meme had the biggest heart, was always smiling and never knew a stranger. She loved to spend her free time going to Goodwill flash sales, spending time with her family and loved ones and being outdoors, swimming, gardening and watching the birds. Meme was loved by so many, impacted many lives and she will be missed dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday June 28, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney. Friends may visit from 5:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the Ritter family at our website, www.cromesfh.com
